Crooked Cornerstones

The house had began to lean to ward the left. Cracked on the concrete posts, beams and walls had began to show. The house was in danger of falling down upon them that live therein. How accurately did the leaning house symbolize the society he had lived in all his life. He had told them about the false foundation on which they stand, but most would not believe him. He had told them about the biggest lie that satan had pulled under their noses, but they laughed at him, and some even got angry with him. And he had practiced Christian charity toward them.
He had sang Don Francisco song Crooked Cornerstone to himself, how accurately apt for this false tradition...
"If you build upon a crooked cornerstone
How you gonna make it stand
If your ship goes down in heavy seas
How you gonna get to land
What you gonna do if the river rises
And your house is upon the sand...
                 They heard the commandment
                  but did not obey
                  They hardened their hearts
                   And wandered away
From the commandments of God and the blessings He gave
To traditions of men and YOKE of a SLAVE...."

"I saw satan laughing with delight..."another song lyrics cross his head, but it was clear to him now. From the  religious left he was looked upon as bad, and to the secular right he was looked upon as a holy roller. He was in between...The left had called him worldly, while the right had termed him a religious fanatic...
